Chief Construction Officer (CCO)

Avanade is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Construction Officer (CCO) to join our executive team in London. The CCO will be responsible for overseeing all construction activities, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This is a pivotal role that requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and extensive industry knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all construction operations, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and implement construction strategies, policies, and procedures to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
• Oversee project budgets, schedules, and resources to ensure successful project completion.
• Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, building codes, and legal requirements.
• Collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or delays promptly.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the construction team.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, suppliers, and industry partners.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to construction team members, promoting professional development and growth.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to handle high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
