Sports Program Coordinator

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Sports Program Coordinator to join our team at Cognizant in Odense. This mid-level position is perfect for someone passionate about sports and recreation, with a knack for organizing and managing programs that engage and inspire participants.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and oversee sports programs and activities.
• Coordinate schedules, facilities, and equipment for various sports events.
• Recruit, train, and supervise coaches, referees, and other program staff.
• Ensure all programs comply with safety regulations and standards.
• Monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, making adjustments as needed.
• Promote programs through various marketing and outreach efforts.
• Manage budgets and financial aspects of the sports programs.
• Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all participants.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in sports program coordination or a similar role.
• Strong organizational and leadership skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
• First Aid and CPR certification is a plus.
