Key Responsibilities

• Oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of sport and recreation programs and services.
• Lead a team of professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional growth.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sport and recreation initiatives with broader company goals and objectives.
• Manage budgets, resources, and partnerships to optimize program effectiveness and sustainability.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations, standards, and best practices in the sport and recreation industry.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Sport Management, Recreation, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sport and recreation management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully developing and managing large-scale sport and recreation programs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate others.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute tactically, with a focus on results and impact.
• Proficiency in budget management and financial analysis.
