Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement strategic plans for sports and recreation programs that align with Agoda’s overall business objectives.
• Oversee the management and operation of all sports and recreation facilities and services.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sports and recreation offerings into Agoda’s travel packages.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Establish partnerships with external organizations to enhance our sports and recreation programs.
• Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to ensure Agoda remains at the forefront of the sports and recreation sector.
• Manage budgets and financial performance, ensuring cost-effective operations and maximizing revenue opportunities.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Recreation, Business Administration, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in sports and recreation management, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of developing and implementing successful sports and recreation programs.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and drive innovation.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.
