Senior Director of Clinical Operations

Avanade is seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Director of Clinical Operations to join our team in Munich. This senior-level position is a key leadership role within our Healthcare & Medical division, responsible for overseeing and optimizing clinical operations to ensure the highest standards of patient care and operational efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage the clinical operations team, providing strategic direction and operational oversight.
• Develop and implement clinical policies, procedures, and protocols to ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including medical staff, IT, and administrative departments, to streamline processes and improve patient outcomes.
• Monitor and analyze clinical performance metrics, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Oversee the management of clinical trials, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and regulatory requirements.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and innovation within the clinical operations team.
• Ensure effective communication and collaboration with external partners, including healthcare providers, regulatory agencies, and industry stakeholders.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to clinical staff, promoting professional development and growth.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Nursing, or a related field; a Doctorate degree is preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in clinical operations, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing clinical operations in a healthcare or medical setting.
• Strong knowledge of regulatory requirements and industry standards in clinical operations.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to analyze complex data and make informed decisions.
• Experience with clinical trial management and oversight.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
