Anchor, a leading company in the IT & Communication industry, is seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Information and Communications Officer (CICO) to join our executive team in Odense. The CICO will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing our technology and communication strategies to drive innovation and operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall IT and communication strategy in alignment with Anchor’s business objectives.
• Lead and manage the IT and communication departments, ensuring efficient and effective operations.
• Oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of the company’s IT infrastructure and communication systems.
• Ensure data security, network access, and backup systems to safeguard company information.
• Collaborate with other executives to identify and prioritize technology initiatives that support business growth and efficiency.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to ensure Anchor remains at the forefront of innovation.
• Manage vendor relationships and negotiate contracts to optimize costs and service quality.
• Develop and manage the IT and communication budget, ensuring cost-effective solutions and resource allocation.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement and professional development within the IT and communication teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in IT and communications, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading large-scale IT and communication projects.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies and their potential business applications.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and execute methodically.
• Experience managing budgets and vendor relationships.
• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
