Anchor, a leading firm in the accounting industry, is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Chief Financial Officer (CFO) to join our executive team in Berlin. The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of financial management, a proven track record of driving financial growth, and the ability to lead and inspire a dynamic team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement financial strategies to support the company’s growth and profitability goals.
• Oversee all financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, financial reporting, and analysis.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and accounting standards.
• Provide strategic recommendations to the CEO and executive team based on financial analysis and projections.
• Manage relationships with investors, banks, and other financial institutions.
• Lead and mentor the finance and accounting team, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
• Identify and mitigate financial risks to safeguard the company’s assets and reputation.
• Collaborate with other departments to drive business performance and achieve organizational objectives.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field; MBA or CPA preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in a senior financial leadership role, preferably within the accounting industry.
• Strong knowledge of financial regulations, accounting principles, and best practices.
• Exceptional analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships at all levels.
• Proven ability to lead and develop high-performing teams.
• Experience with financial software and systems, including ERP and financial reporting tools.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is a plus.
