Mid-Level Financial Accountant

Description

Anchor is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Mid-Level Financial Accountant to join our team in Aarhus. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with a strong background in accounting and finance to contribute to a dynamic and growing company in the banking and financial industry.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial statements in accordance with GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Reconcile accounts, including bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
• Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
• Conduct variance analysis and provide insights on financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial policies.
• Collaborate with external auditors during audits and reviews.
• Support the implementation of new accounting systems and processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in accounting or finance roles.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and IFRS standards.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• CPA or equivalent certification.
• Experience in the banking and financial industry.
• Familiarity with ERP systems.
• Advanced Excel skills, including pivot tables and macros.
