Amazon Web Services (AWS) is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development to lead our real estate initiatives in Frankfurt. This senior-level position is pivotal in driving the strategic growth and development of AWS’s real estate portfolio in the region.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee all aspects of real estate development, including site selection, acquisition, design, construction, and project management.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to expand AWS’s real estate footprint in Frankfurt and surrounding areas.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, legal, and operations teams, to ensure alignment with AWS’s business objectives.
• Manage relationships with external partners, including developers, contractors, architects, and local government officials.
• Ensure projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Monitor market trends and identify opportunities for growth and optimization of the real estate portfolio.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a team of real estate professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, Architecture, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in real estate development, with a proven track record of successful project delivery.
• Extensive knowledge of the Frankfurt real estate market and regulatory environment.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a diverse team.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
