Citibank is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic individual to join our team as the Senior Vice President of Mining and Energy Operations in Manchester. This senior-level position requires a strategic leader with extensive knowledge and experience in the Mining & Energy industry, coupled with a strong background in banking and financial services.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and oversee the Mining and Energy Operations division, ensuring alignment with Citibank’s strategic goals and objectives.
• Develop and implement comprehensive strategies to drive growth and profitability within the Mining & Energy sector.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, industry partners, and regulatory bodies.
• Monitor and analyze market trends, identifying opportunities and risks to inform decision-making and strategic planning.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and industry standards, maintaining the highest levels of integrity and ethical conduct.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver innovative financial solutions tailored to the needs of Mining & Energy clients.
• Provide leadership, mentorship, and development opportunities to a high-performing team of professionals.
• Prepare and present reports to senior management, offering insights and recommendations to drive business performance.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Mining & Energy industry, with a proven track record of leadership and success.
• Strong understanding of banking and financial services, with experience in managing large-scale operations.
