This senior-level position will play a critical role in overseeing and optimizing our mining and energy operations, ensuring sustainable and efficient practices that align with Apple’s commitment to environmental responsibility and innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage all aspects of mining and energy operations, including strategic planning, resource allocation, and operational efficiency.
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and industry standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate sustainable practices and innovative technologies into mining and energy operations.
• Oversee the development and execution of projects aimed at reducing the environmental impact of mining and energy activities.
• Monitor and analyze industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes to inform strategic decision-making.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including government agencies, industry partners, and community organizations.
• Provide leadership and mentorship to a diverse team of professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mining Engineering, Energy Management, Environmental Science, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the mining and energy industry, with at least 10 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale mining and energy operations.
• Strong understanding of environmental regulations, sustainability practices, and industry standards.
• Excellent strategic planning, project management, and problem-solving skills.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and engage stakeholders at all levels.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and inspire high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
