Senior Corporate Counsel
Description
Meta is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Corporate Counsel to join our dynamic legal team in Munich. This senior-level position will play a crucial role in providing legal support and guidance on a wide range of real estate and property matters, ensuring compliance with local and international laws, and supporting Meta’s strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert legal advice and support on real estate and property transactions, including acquisitions, leases, and dispositions.
- Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of real estate agreements and related documents.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including finance, operations, and project management teams, to ensure alignment on legal and business objectives.
- Manage and resolve real estate disputes, including litigation and arbitration, in coordination with external counsel as necessary.
- Ensure compliance with local, national, and international real estate laws and regulations.
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments for potential real estate transactions.
- Stay current on legal developments and industry trends related to real estate and property law.
- Provide training and guidance to internal teams on real estate legal matters.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (JD) or equivalent legal degree from a recognized institution.
- Admitted to practice law in Germany.
- Minimum of 8-10 years of relevant legal experience, with a focus on real estate and property law.
- Strong knowledge of German and international real estate laws and regulations.
- Proven track record of successfully managing complex real estate transactions and disputes.
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Fluency in both German and English, written and spoken.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in a multinational corporation or a top-tier law firm.
- Familiarity with technology and digital infrastructure projects.
- Strong business acumen and strategic thinking abilities.
