We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Legal Compliance Specialist to join our team at Cognizant in Munich. This mid-level position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in the legal industry who are passionate about ensuring compliance with regulatory standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and interpret regulatory changes and ensure the company’s compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
• Develop, implement, and maintain compliance policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular audits and assessments to identify potential compliance risks and areas for improvement.
• Provide guidance and training to employees on compliance-related matters.
• Collaborate with various departments to ensure a cohesive approach to compliance across the organization.
• Prepare and submit compliance reports to regulatory authorities as required.
• Investigate and resolve compliance issues and complaints.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in a compliance role within the legal industry.
• Strong knowledge of local and international regulatory requirements.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and compliance management software.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Law or a related field.
• Professional certification in compliance (e.g., CCEP, CRCM).
• Experience working in a multinational corporation.
• Fluency in German and English.
