Junior Construction Project Coordinator

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Construction Project Coordinator to join our team at BGC in Berlin. This entry-level position is an excellent opportunity for individuals passionate about the construction industry, particularly in the Sport & Recreation sector. As a Junior Construction Project Coordinator, you will support the project management team in planning, coordinating, and overseeing construction projects to ensure they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in the planning and execution of construction projects, ensuring adherence to project timelines and budgets.
• Coordinate with various stakeholders, including contractors, suppliers, and clients, to facilitate smooth project operations.
• Monitor project progress and prepare regular status reports for senior management.
• Maintain project documentation, including contracts, schedules, and meeting minutes.
• Support the procurement process by obtaining quotes, preparing purchase orders, and tracking deliveries.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and quality standards throughout the project lifecycle.
• Assist in resolving any issues or conflicts that arise during the construction process.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Project).
• Basic understanding of construction processes and terminology.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Fluency in German and English is required.

Preferred Skills

• Previous internship or work experience in the construction industry.
• Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Primavera, MS Project).
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.
