Covtech, a leading innovator in the construction industry, is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Construction Officer (CCO) to join our executive team in Aarhus. The CCO will play a pivotal role in driving the strategic direction and operational excellence of our construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee all construction operations, including project planning, execution, and delivery.
• Develop and implement strategic initiatives to enhance construction efficiency and effectiveness.
• Lead and mentor a team of construction managers, engineers, and other professionals.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations, building codes, and environmental standards.
• Collaborate with other executive team members to align construction activities with company goals.
• Manage budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful project completion.
• Foster relationships with clients, contractors, suppliers, and other stakeholders.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects.
• Stay updated on industry trends, technologies, and best practices.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects.
• Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of construction processes, materials, and legal regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
