Meta is seeking a dynamic and visionary Chief Information and Communications Officer (CICO) to join our executive team in Frankfurt. This role is pivotal in driving our IT and communication strategies, ensuring that our technological infrastructure and communication systems are robust, innovative, and aligned with our business goals. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in the IT & Communication industry, with a proven track record of leadership and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement comprehensive IT and communication strategies that support Meta’s business objectives.
• Oversee the management of Meta’s IT infrastructure, ensuring optimal performance, security, and scalability.
• Lead and mentor a team of IT and communication professionals, fostering a culture of innovation and excellence.
• Collaborate with other executive team members to align IT and communication initiatives with overall business strategies.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, maintaining the highest levels of data security and privacy.
• Drive the adoption of emerging technologies to enhance Meta’s competitive edge and operational efficiency.
• Manage relationships with external vendors and partners, negotiating contracts and ensuring service level agreements are met.
• Monitor and analyze IT and communication performance metrics, making data-driven decisions to improve outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Communications, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in the IT & Communication industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven experience in strategic planning and execution within a large, complex organization.
• Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with the ability to translate technical concepts into business value.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Demonstrated ability to manage large-scale projects and drive organizational change.
• Experience with budget management and financial planning.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in German is highly desirable.
