DBS is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Mining and Energy Operations to join our team in Aarhus. This senior-level position requires a strategic leader with a strong background in the Mining & Energy industry, capable of driving operational excellence and fostering innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee and manage all aspects of mining and energy operations, ensuring alignment with company goals and regulatory requirements.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to enhance operational efficiency and profitability.
• Lead and mentor a team of professionals, fostering a culture of safety, innovation, and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive project development and execution.
• Monitor industry trends and advancements to ensure DBS remains at the forefront of the Mining & Energy sector.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including government agencies, partners, and clients.
• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety regulations.
• Prepare and present reports to the executive team and board of directors.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Mining, Energy, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the Mining & Energy industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale operations and projects.
• Strong understanding of industry regulations, standards, and best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and make data-driven decisions.
• Proficiency in project management and financial analysis.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
