Mid-Level Mining & Energy Project Coordinator

Avanade is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mid-Level Mining & Energy Project Coordinator to join our team in Hamburg. This role is pivotal in ensuring the successful planning, execution, and completion of projects within the Mining & Energy sector. Key Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage project activities to ensure timely delivery and adherence to budget and quality standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineers, consultants, and stakeholders, to define project scope and objectives.
• Monitor project progress, identify potential risks, and implement mitigation strategies.
• Prepare and present regular project status reports to senior management and clients.
• Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies throughout the project lifecycle.
• Facilitate effective communication and collaboration among project team members.
• Assist in the development and implementation of project management best practices and methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Project Management, or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in project coordination within the Mining & Energy industry.
• Proven track record of successfully managing projects from inception to completion.
• Strong understanding of project management principles and methodologies.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in project management software and tools.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English and German is required.

Preferred Skills:

• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
• Experience with Agile and Lean project management methodologies.
• Knowledge of industry-specific regulations and standards.
• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
