Key Responsibilities:

• Design and develop mechanical components and assemblies for Apple products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including electrical engineers, industrial designers, and manufacturing engineers to ensure seamless integration of mechanical designs.
• Perform detailed engineering analysis and simulations to validate design concepts.
• Create and maintain detailed engineering documentation, including 3D models, drawings, and specifications.
• Participate in design reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve product designs.
• Support the prototyping and testing of mechanical components to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements.
• Identify and resolve technical issues throughout the product development lifecycle.
• Stay up-to-date with the latest industry trends and technologies to drive innovation in mechanical design.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• 3-5 years of experience in mechanical design, preferably in the consumer electronics industry.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, Creo, or similar).
• Strong understanding of mechanical engineering principles and materials science.
• Experience with finite element analysis (FEA) and other simulation tools.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Experience with thermal and structural analysis.
• Knowledge of manufacturing processes such as injection molding, die casting, and CNC machining.
• Familiarity with regulatory standards and compliance requirements for consumer electronics.
• Experience with project management tools and methodologies.
