Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the overall engineering strategy in alignment with the company’s goals and objectives.
• Lead and manage the engineering team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and excellence.
• Oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of engineering projects, ensuring they meet quality, budget, and timeline requirements.
• Collaborate with other executive team members to drive business growth and improve operational efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulations, and best practices.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with engineering projects and operations.
• Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends to maintain BGC’s competitive edge.
• Represent the company in technical discussions, negotiations, and partnerships with clients, vendors, and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering or a related field; MBA or equivalent advanced degree is a plus.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the engineering industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully leading and managing large engineering teams and complex projects.
• Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• In-depth knowledge of engineering principles, practices, and technologies.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Fluency in English; proficiency in Danish is an advantage.
