Junior Financial Analyst

DXC Technology is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Financial Analyst to join our team in Berlin. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to start your career in the Banking & Financial industry, working with a dynamic team to support financial planning, analysis, and reporting activities.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, budgets, and forecasts.
• Analyze financial data to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
• Collaborate with various departments to gather and analyze financial information.
• Prepare and present financial analysis to management.
• Ensure compliance with financial regulations and company policies.
• Participate in special projects and ad-hoc financial analysis as required.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; German is a plus.
• Attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Previous internship or work experience in finance or accounting.
• Knowledge of financial modeling and data analysis techniques.
• Familiarity with ERP systems such as SAP or Oracle.
