Chief Construction Officer (CCO)

Citibank is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Chief Construction Officer (CCO) to join our team in Odense. This executive-level position requires a visionary leader with a strong background in the construction industry to oversee and manage all construction-related activities for Citibank’s projects. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successful project delivery, exceptional leadership skills, and the ability to drive strategic initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for all construction projects, ensuring alignment with Citibank’s goals and objectives.
• Oversee the planning, design, and execution of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
• Develop and implement construction policies, procedures, and best practices to optimize efficiency and effectiveness.
• Manage and mentor a team of construction professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including architects, engineers, contractors, and regulatory agencies, to ensure successful project outcomes.
• Monitor and report on project progress, addressing any issues or challenges that arise and implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Identify and mitigate risks associated with construction projects, developing contingency plans as necessary.
• Drive innovation and sustainability initiatives within the construction department.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in the construction industry, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale construction projects from inception to completion.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and regulations.
• Exceptional leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and drive organizational change.
• Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and resources.
• Proficiency in construction management software and tools.
• Commitment to safety, quality, and sustainability.
