Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development

DBS is seeking a highly experienced and dynamic Senior Vice President of Real Estate Development to lead our ambitious projects in Iceland. This senior-level position requires a visionary leader with a proven track record in the real estate and property industry, capable of driving strategic initiatives and delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:

• Oversee the planning, development, and execution of real estate projects from inception to completion.
• Develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives and maximize property value.
• Lead and mentor a team of real estate professionals, fostering a culture of excellence and innovation.
• Identify and evaluate new business opportunities, including acquisitions, partnerships, and joint ventures.
• Manage project budgets, timelines, and resources to ensure successful project delivery.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including investors, government agencies, and community leaders.
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Monitor market trends and conduct competitive analysis to inform strategic decision-making.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Business Administration, or a related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in real estate development, with at least 5 years in a senior leadership role.
• Proven track record of successfully managing large-scale real estate projects.
• Strong financial acumen and experience with budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to think strategically and drive innovative solutions.
• In-depth knowledge of the Icelandic real estate market and regulatory environment is a plus.
