Avanade is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Senior Vice President of Financial Strategy and Risk Management to join our team in Munich. This senior-level position is crucial for driving our financial strategy and managing risk within the Banking & Financial industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in financial leadership, risk management, and strategic planning.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement comprehensive financial strategies to support Avanade’s business objectives.
• Oversee risk management processes, ensuring the identification, assessment, and mitigation of financial risks.
• Lead financial planning and analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting.
• Collaborate with senior leadership to align financial strategies with overall business goals.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
• Manage relationships with key stakeholders, including investors, auditors, and regulatory bodies.
• Provide strategic guidance on mergers, acquisitions, and other financial transactions.
• Mentor and develop a high-performing finance team.

Qualifications:

• Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum of 15 years of experience in financial strategy and risk management, preferably within the Banking & Financial industry.
• Proven leadership experience with a track record of driving financial performance and managing risk.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Fluency in English and German is required.
• Professional certifications such as CFA, CPA, or FRM are highly desirable.
