This senior-level position is crucial for overseeing our accounting operations and ensuring the financial health of our organization. If you have a strong background in accounting and a passion for excellence, we would love to hear from you.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Oversee and manage the general accounting functions, including, but not limited to: accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and taxes.<\/li>\n<li>Help with quarterly and year-end financial audit activities and the annual corporate financial controls audit.<\/li>\n<li>Assess current practices and procedures, and make recommendations for improvements.<\/li>\n<li>Prepare, review, and analyze financial statements to ensure accuracy and completeness.<\/li>\n<li>Perform ad hoc analysis and projects as requested.<\/li>\n<li>Supervise and\/or manage general ledger accounting functions.<\/li>\n<li>Develop staff by managing performance, setting goals, providing ongoing training, and maintaining strong employee relationships.<\/li>\n<li>Work with external auditors to ensure correct and timely closing and reporting at year-end.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Bachelor&#8217;s degree in Accounting or Finance. CPA or MBA preferred.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience with a portion of it being in a supervisory role.<\/li>\n<li>Thorough knowledge of U.S. GAAP.<\/li>\n<li>Excellent verbal and written communication abilities across all levels of an organization.<\/li>\n<li>Strong leadership skills with a dedication to driving and achieving results.<\/li>\n<li>Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
